I have had a life long fascination with art beginning as a pre-teen going to art galleries alone. I didn't pursue art exploration until much later in life. It was only when my husband didn't want to take up golf with me that I had to look for another activity. I had always wanted to try my hand at art but was too shy and I was afraid of embarrassing myself. But I was lucky enough to have found an incredible artist in my area that opened her studio to new artists and mentored them. Because of my nomadic life, sailing offshore and then dividing my time between Mexico and Canada I really didn't get the time I needed in my studio. However, I now live fulltime in Mexico, I have a wonderful studio and I have a lot of time to play in it.
